Eva has studied yoga daily since 2001, first with Astanga
Mysore method, and then, moving into Hatha yoga practices, including enormously
beneficial Yin yoga, which works on releasing deep tissues and opening
meridians. Since 2006 she has been concentrating on studying Iyengar yoga,
to help her understand the asana in depth. She is currently training with
Senior Iyengar teacher Alaric Newcombe.
Eva has trained with internationally renowned teachers Simon Low, Sarah
Powers, Paul Grilley, Donna Farhi and Max Strom. She holds teacher-training
certificate accredited by British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance from
the Yoga Academy.
She has travelled to many different places and discovered yoga in a
variety of cultures, finding her experiences have deepened her understanding
of the profoundly therapeutic benefit of yoga for body, breath, mind
and spirit. Eva also practices Vipassana meditation, which brings a
fluid and contemplative element to her practice.
She is interested to teach yoga as a wholesome life style practice,
where we find balance within nature and ourselves. Her intention is
to create a non-competitive environment for yoga practice where we deepen
our own self-study and personal development. Eva’s classes combine
creative breathe led fluid movement and balanced with meditative stillness.
